Choose how you'll use the car

Personal, rideshare or business comes first. It decides which cars, plans and prices apply to you.

Rentzy's side: Each use has its own eligibility rules, and not every car is approved for every use.

An example rental: the customer and dates are made up; the steps and screens are Rentzy's own. Prices and terms are shown in your quote before you pay.

Choose how you'll use the car: Personal, rideshare or business comes first. It decides which cars, plans and prices apply to you. Each use has its own eligibility rules, and not every car is approved for every use.
Pick your dates and plan: Daily, weekly and monthly plans each have their own minimum period. Every eligible total is shown in Australian dollars before you choose. Prices come from the published plans only, with the kilometre allowance shown before you pay.
Verify the driver: Every driver is verified before a booking is confirmed, including a current driver's licence. You're told exactly what's needed before you pay. We review the licence and details, and may ask for more, such as a clearer photo.
Pay securely online: We explain the driver checks, and exactly when and how you pay, before you book. A payment on its own never confirms a booking: verification has to be approved too.
Confirmed means both: Your booking is confirmed once the driver verification is approved and the payment is complete. You can follow each stage when you sign in. Not approved, or a deadline passed? We explain why.
Collect it in Hendra: Come to our Hendra location at your pickup time and bring the licence you verified with. We check the car with you, you sign the rental agreement, and the keys are yours. We record the car's condition, kilometres and fuel with photos at handover.
On the road: Need it for longer? Request an extension from your booking before the return time. If it's approved, you pay the difference before it takes effect. Each extension request is reviewed before it takes effect.
Back where you started: Bring the car back to the same Hendra location at the time in your booking. We check it in with you. Kilometres, fuel and condition are compared with the handover record, so nothing is guessed.

What "confirmed" means

A booking moves through these stages. You can follow each one when you sign in.

Reserved — complete paymentThe car is held for a short time while you check out.
Awaiting verificationWe are checking the driver's details. We may ask for more information, such as a clearer photo. The booking is not confirmed yet.
Payment neededIf the payment can't be completed, we email you a secure link to pay. The booking is held only for a limited time.
ConfirmedThe verification is approved and the payment has gone through.
Not approved, or a deadline passedWe explain why. We tell you what happens to any payment.
