Before you book
Rental conditions
Drivers 21+ with a full licence held 2 years. Book with a A$100 deposit; pay the rest and a A$500 refundable bond at pickup.
Who can drive
- Every driver must be 21 or older.
- A full driver's licence (not a learner or provisional licence), held for at least 2 years.
- Overseas licences are welcome. If your licence is not in English, also bring an International Driving Permit.
- We check every driver's licence before a booking is confirmed. Bring the same licence to pickup.
What you pay, and when
- An A$100 booking deposit online when you book. It is held on your card and only charged once your driver check is approved, which is when your booking is confirmed. If it isn't approved, it isn't charged.
- The deposit is credited towards your rent. The rest of your rent is paid at pickup.
- Prices include GST. There is no card surcharge.
Security bond
- A refundable A$500 security bond is paid at pickup, in person. It is separate from your rent.
- After you return the car and it has been checked, we refund the bond, less any charges allowed by your rental agreement. Any deduction is itemised.
Cancelling a booking
- Your exact cancellation terms are shown on your booking page, before you pay and after.
- If we have to cancel your booking, everything you have paid is refunded.
Pickup and return
- Collect and return the car at 238 Nudgee Road, Hendra QLD 4011, near Brisbane Airport.
- During opening hours: Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm. Closed Sunday.
- You book a car type; the exact car ("or similar") is confirmed before pickup.
- To change dates or extend, send a request from your booking. If we approve it, you pay any difference before it takes effect.
Your rental agreement
- Everything else about the rental is in the rental agreement. We go through it with you, and you sign it, at pickup before you take the car.
